Celebration
From Project Rebearth
Celebration is a positive event in Project Rebearth that occurs when a settlement's Happiness is high. During a celebration, the settlement receives a bonus of resources such as
Wood,
Stone, or
Earth.
Trigger
[edit]A celebration is triggered automatically when a settlement's Happiness reaches a high level. The event cannot be manually triggered. Unlike the Productivity Boom, which requires sustained high happiness, a celebration can occur whenever happiness is sufficiently high.
Happiness can be increased through several choices and conditions:
| Source | Happiness | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Lavish Rations | +20% | Choice |
| Worker Safety | +10% | Choice |
| Science League | +10% | Alliance type |
Effects
[edit]When a celebration occurs, the settlement receives a bonus grant of resources. Celebrations can provide additional
Wood,
Stone, or
Earth, giving the settlement a one-time boost to its stockpiles.
Celebrations are a reward for maintaining high happiness and provide an incentive to invest in happiness-boosting choices rather than stacking purely economic modifiers.
Strategy
[edit]Celebrations are one of the benefits of keeping happiness high. While the bonus resources are helpful, the main strategic value of high happiness is avoiding strikes and potentially triggering a Productivity Boom for a sustained production boost.
To maximize the chance of celebrations, players should use happiness-boosting choices such as Lavish Rations (+20%) and Worker Safety (+10%), or join a Science League alliance (+10%). Avoiding happiness-reducing choices like Taxation (-30%), Cramped Quarters (-30%), and Dubious Working Rules (-20%) also helps keep happiness in the celebration range.
