Grain
From Project Rebearth
Grain is an intermediate resource in Project Rebearth harvested from fields. It cannot be consumed directly but serves as a key input for two important production chains: it is milled into 
Flour by the Windmill to produce 
Food via the Bakery, and it is fermented into 
Drinks by the Brewery to generate 
Coin via the Tavern. Both Grain and Maize field styles produce 
Grain at the same rate.
Production
[edit] Grain production scales with field area. Both Grain and Maize crop styles yield Grain at the same rate per square meter, making the choice between them purely cosmetic.
Production chains
[edit]Bakery chain
[edit]The Bakery chain is the primary path from Grain to Food. Fields grow Grain, which the Windmill converts into Flour at a rate of 100 Flour/day while consuming 100 Grain/day (5 workers). The Bakery then converts Flour into Food at 100 Food/day. The Improved Windmill is more efficient, consuming only 80 Grain/day for the same 100 Flour/day output.
Tavern chain
[edit]The Tavern chain is the most productive Coin generation path. The Brewery converts 50 Grain/day into 50 Drinks/day (10 workers), and the Tavern sells 10 Drinks/day for 10 Coin/day (5 workers).

[edit] Grain can be purchased from other players through the Market (up to 1,000 capacity) or the Port (up to 5,000 capacity). Trading for Grain can supplement local field production when expanding food or drink production chains faster than field area allows.

Grain is not directly targeted by any specific production effect. Only the general all production modifier applies to Grain output from fields.
