Details
[edit]Normal Rations is the default ration policy for all settlements. It is active from the start and does not need to be manually selected. Switching back to Normal Rations from Low Rations or Lavish Rations requires a 1-day lock period.
Normal Rations has no resource cost to enact and is mutually exclusive with Low Rations and Lavish Rations. Only one ration policy can be active at any time.
Strategy
[edit]Normal Rations is the baseline option with no trade-offs. It is the right choice for settlements with a stable
Food supply that neither need to conserve food (Low Rations) nor want to spend extra food for a happiness boost (Lavish Rations).
The 1-day lock period makes switching between ration policies relatively quick compared to trade focus policies (14 days). Players can freely adapt their ration policy to changing food supply conditions without long commitments.
