The University is a research building that produces 
Knowledge in exchange for 
Coin and 
Glass. It also unlocks Expeditions, allowing players to explore new territory.
Overview
[edit]The University is one of the most resource-intensive buildings in the game. In the Wood, Stone, and Arctic biomes, it costs 1,000 
Wood, 1,000 
Stone, 100 
Tools, and 500 Glass to construct. In the Earth biome, Stone is replaced by 
Earth, costing 1,000 Earth and 1,000 Wood alongside the same Tools and Glass requirements.
The University requires 50 workers to operate, making it one of the largest employers among all buildings. Once staffed, it produces +10 Knowledge per day while consuming 10 Coin per day and 5 Glass per day. The ongoing Glass consumption means a steady supply from a Glassworks is essential to keep the University running.
Building a University is a prerequisite for launching Expeditions, which allow players to explore new areas of the map and gather 
Scrap and basic resources. The Science League alliance type provides a bonus to research speed, increasing the University's effective Knowledge output for all alliance members.
