Flour
From Project Rebearth
Flour is an intermediate resource in Project Rebearth, produced by grinding 
Grain at a Windmill. It is the sole input for the Bakery, which converts it into 
Food at a highly efficient 2:1 ratio. The Grain-to-Flour-to-Food chain is one of the most productive ways to feed large populations.
Overview
[edit]The Windmill converts 100 Grain/day into 100 
Flour/day, consuming 0.1 
Tools/day in the process. It requires 5 workers. The Improved Windmill is a direct upgrade that maintains the same 100 Flour/day output while reducing Grain consumption to only 80/day and eliminating the Tools cost entirely, making it significantly more efficient.
The Bakery consumes 50 Flour/day to produce 100 Food/day (2 workers), also requiring 0.1 Tools/day. This 2:1 conversion ratio means a single Windmill can supply two Bakeries, making the chain extremely space- and worker-efficient for large-scale Food production.
Flour cannot be used for construction and has no use outside the Bakery chain.

The Improved Windmill produces the same amount of Flour as the standard Windmill but requires 20% less Grain (80 vs 100 per day) and no Tools, making it a significant efficiency upgrade. The upgrade costs 100 
Scrap.
Production Chains

[edit]The Bakery chain is the most productive way to generate Food from farming. Fields grow Grain at +0.01/m², the Windmill converts 100 Grain/day into 100 Flour/day (5 workers), and the Bakery converts 50 Flour/day into 100 Food/day (2 workers). A single Windmill can therefore feed two Bakeries, producing 200 Food/day from 100 Grain/day.

The Bakery is the only building that consumes Flour. Its 2:1 conversion ratio (50 Flour into 100 Food) makes the Bakery chain one of the most efficient Food sources in the game.

Other Sources
[edit] Flour can be purchased from other players or NPC orders through the Market (up to 1,000 capacity) or the Port (up to 5,000 capacity). Buying Flour directly can be useful when Grain supply is limited but Bakeries are available.

Flour production is affected by the all production modifier, which applies to every production building in the settlement including the Windmill and Bakery.
