The Fishery is a Food building that produces
Food from coastal waters. It must be placed on the coast and serves as the parent structure for Boats and Piers, which extend its reach over water.
Overview
[edit]The Fishery costs 100 of the biome's primary resource to construct. In the Arctic it costs 100
Wood, the same numeric amount as the other biomes. It requires 1 worker to operate and stores 100
Food.
The Fishery produces 5
Food per day in the Wood, Stone, and Earth biomes. In the Arctic it produces 10
Food per day. The Fishery is the only production building that yields more in the Arctic than in temperate biomes, making it a key food source in polar settlements where land-based farming is unavailable.
The Fishery acts as a parent for two child buildings. Boats are placed on water within 50 meters of a Fishery (or Pier) and produce additional
Food. Piers are placed on water within 10 meters of a Fishery and serve as anchor points that allow Boats to be placed further out from the coast.
Changelog
[edit]March 18, 2026
- Balance Fisheries in the Arctic Biome now has doubled production (10).
