The Small Ship is an infrastructure building that can be placed near a Port or Dock on water. It reduces export and import costs by 10%, making it the cheapest way to begin lowering trade expenses.
Overview
[edit]The Small Ship must be placed within 100 meters of a Port or Dock and can only be built on water. It costs 1,000
Wood to construct, the same across all biomes. Once built, it consumes 1
Drinks per day. It does not require any workers or provide housing.
The Small Ship reduces export and import costs by 10%. Different ship types stack with each other: a Small Ship (10%), Medium Ship (25%), and Large Ship (50%) can all contribute simultaneously for a combined 85% reduction. However, building multiple Small Ships does not provide additional cost reduction beyond the first.
Docks can be used to extend the area where ships can be built, allowing placement further from the Port.
