It covers the frozen polar regions of the world, representing the harshest environment for settlement. The Arctic biome has no natural resource extraction so the [[Woodcutter]], [[Quarry]], [[Claypit]], [[Iron Mine]], or [[Foraging Hut]] buildings can't be built. Settlements must rely entirely on the [[Fishery]] for food and on [[Trade|trade]] for all other resources, making it the most challenging biome to develop. == Overview == The Arctic biome is associated with frozen tundra and polar landscapes.
