== Strategy == The Earth biome's low Wood upkeep makes it the most efficient biome for large-scale housing, allowing settlements to support large populations with minimal Wood consumption. However, its low Wood production means players must invest in trade or multiple Woodcutters to sustain building construction and Tools production. While the Woodcutter produces only ' Wood per day in the Earth biome, the Saw produces ' Wood per day regardless of biome, making it an effective way to supplement Wood output. The trade-off is that the Saw consumes ' Tools per day. The biome's strength in Earth production makes it a natural hub for Glass manufacturing via the Glassworks, which can be traded to other settlements. Combined with the Claypit and Clay Crane, Earth biome settlements can generate large surpluses of Earth for export.
