== Strategy == Intensive Farming is a one-time investment of 100 Knowledge that permanently expands a town's animal farming capabilities. Since it has no negative effects (no happiness penalty, no production reductions), the main consideration is whether the player has a Grain supply available to take advantage of the new feeding mechanic. Towns with established fields producing surplus Grain benefit the most, as the extra grain can be redirected to animals for increased Milk and Wool output. For towns that rely heavily on animal products for their economy (through creameries, tailors, or trade), this choice is a straightforward upgrade with no downsides. Unlike choices such as Worker Safety or Dubious Working Rules that involve ongoing trade-offs, Intensive Farming is a simple unlock. There is little reason to delay enacting it once a player has the Knowledge and an animal farming operation in place.
