== Strategy == Celebrations are one of the benefits of keeping happiness high. While the bonus resources are helpful, the main strategic value of high happiness is avoiding [[Strike|strikes]] and potentially triggering a [[Productivity Boom]] for a sustained production boost. To maximize the chance of celebrations, players should use happiness-boosting choices such as [[Lavish Rations]] (+20%) and [[Worker Safety]] (+10%), or join a [[Science League]] alliance (+10%). Avoiding happiness-reducing choices like [[Taxation]] (-30%), [[Cramped Quarters]] (-30%), and [[Dubious Working Rules]] (-20%) also helps keep happiness in the celebration range.
