== Overview == The Iron Mine costs 1,000 of the biome's primary resource plus 20 Tools to construct. It produces Ore at biome-dependent rates: +100/day in the Stone Biome, +60/day in the Earth Biome, and +40/day in the Wood Biome, making the Stone Biome the most favourable location for ore extraction. All biomes consume 1 Tools per day to operate. The building requires 50 workers and is not available in the Arctic Biome. The Iron Mine has a built-in storage capacity of 500 Ore. An exclusion zone prevents placement within 1,500 meters of another Iron Mine or Improved Iron Mine, ensuring that ore production cannot be concentrated in a single area. The Iron Mine can be upgraded to the Improved Iron Mine at a cost of 100 Scrap. The upgrade doubles ore production to +200/day (Stone), +120/day (Earth), and +80/day (Wood), while increasing the worker requirement to 100 and expanding storage to 1,000 Ore. Tools consumption remains at 1/day. Ore produced by the Iron Mine is processed through the tools chain:
