== Overview == The Improved Windmill cannot be constructed directly. It is obtained by spending ' Scrap to upgrade an existing Windmill. The upgrade preserves the parent Windmill's ' worker requirement and 25-meter exclusion zone. Each day the Improved Windmill consumes ' Grain and produces ' Flour. Flour output is unchanged from the base Windmill, but grain consumption drops by ' per day, a meaningful saving for settlements that scale up bread production. The upgrade also removes the Tools maintenance cost present on the base Windmill. Storage capacity is reduced to ' units of Flour only. Unlike the base Windmill, the Improved Windmill no longer holds a Grain buffer, so settlements relying on it should ensure Grain is available from a nearby Field or storage building.
